New ‘continuous green’ intersection opens

MnDOT has installed a new cost effective 'T' intersection design with 'Continuous Green' traffic signal system at the junction of Hwy 65 and Hwy 107 near Braham. The signal system became operational on July 3, 2019.
Improves traffic flow, safety
The new intersection will improve traffic flow, access and safety. The intersection features extended turn lanes, wider shoulders and concrete raised medians for lane separation, and a 'Continuous Green' through-lane on southbound Highway 65. The intersection will also improve safety for motorists who make left-hand turns at the intersection.
