The purpose of this report is to discuss tunnel lighting requirements, lighting system upgrades, crash data analysis, cost, and give recommendations to MnDOT to replace/upgrade the existing tunnel lighting system for the tunnels defined in this report. This report will also use the findings from the Tunnel Inspection Report dated September 28, completed by WSP, describing the current conditions of existing lighting system equipment.
