Planning Internship Program
MnDOT’s Planning Internship Program is a summer program designed for recent college graduates to understand and support transportation planning efforts across the state. Interns work closely with experienced planning staff to help develop plans, conduct stakeholder engagement, analyze data, manage transportation system performance measures, and more.

How to apply
The Planning Internship Program accepts applications from December through January, or until all positions are filled, for the following summer’s cohort. Applications must be submitted through the State of Minnesota Careers website to be considered. All applicants must email unofficial school transcripts to the program manager at Amanada.Bowlin@state.mn.us.
