LON is the minimum length required to meet NCHRP 350 standards based on the number of sections used in the crash testing.

Pedestal feet required for TL-3 (62 mph) level.

Length was ballasted at each end with four unanchored 3.0m long PCMB equal, in weight, to 23 barrier sections.

Length was attached to an anchored crash cushion at one end and an anchored crash cushion base at the other end.

8 Anchors in each end section.

For TL-3 (62 mph) level four sections are to be added upstream from length of need.

Not on Approved Product List for Temporary Traffic Control Devices.

Minimum of 10 sections needed upstream from length of need for TL-3 level.

Unanchored deflection from MASH crash testing for TL-3. MASH testing standards and results supercede NCHRP 350 standards and results.
