Media Day at MnDOT snowplow operator training planned for Wednesday, Oct. 23
ST. PAUL, Minn.
WHAT: Snowplow Operators Training Program – Snowplow operators from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will complete their second and final session of training next week at Camp Ripley. The annual snowplow training, known as SPOT, is a two-week session that provides plow operators with the skills, techniques and best practices related to winter highway maintenance operations. The first two-week session was held in September.
Members of the media will have the opportunity to watch the training in action, interview snowplow operators and ride in a snowplow.
WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Camp Ripley, 15000 Highway 115, Little Falls, Minn.
