Two-week closure ahead for Hwy 96 storm water culvert replacement in Stillwater Township, work begins Monday, October 22
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Replacement of an aging storm water culvert beneath Highway 96 between North and South Twin Lakes in Stillwater Township begins Monday, October 22, 2018. The project includes removal and replacement of the failed culvert to better manage storm water in the area.
As the project begins, motorists will encounter a two-week full closure of the roadway at the project area on the north end of South Twin Lake. During the closure, traffic will follow a signed detour on Manning Avenue North (County Road 15), 75th Street N./West Mrytle Street and Stonebridge Trail N./Owens Street N. Drivers should watch for other traffic restrictions throughout the project.
Work will be completed by early November, weather permitting.
