Hwy 2 detour at Hwy 194 starts May 30

DULUTH, Minn. – Minnesota Department of Transportation contractors will be installing a detour of Hwy 2 on May 30. Traffic will continue east and westbound on Hwy 194 to Midway Road. This closure is to allow for construction of a bypass at the intersection of Hwy 2 and Hwy 194. A roundabout will be constructed at the intersection this summer. The detour is expected to last for three weeks when Hwy 2 traffic will move on to the bypass.
