Postponed: MnDOT to start overnight work on I-494 beginning May 30
Beginning 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, crews will be working overnight on both directions of I-494 between East Bush Lake Road and the I-35W/I-494 interchange to construct crossovers and widen lanes on I-494. Motorists can expect to see intermittent lane and shoulder closures nightly, from Sunday evening through Friday morning, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. until Friday, June 30. There may also be some occasional weekend overnight lane closures. Crews will also work from 7 p.m. Friday, June 2 through 6 a.m. Saturday, June 3.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slowdown in work zones where workers are present.
