I-90 westbound Marion Rest Area closed May 1-8 for septic improvement installation
EYOTA, Minn. – The westbound Interstate 90 Marion Rest Area will be closed May 1-8 for a septic system improvement installation, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
No parking or rest area services will be available at the site, which is between Exit 224 (Highway 42, Eyota) and Exit 218 (Highway 52, Rochester). A rest area, the Dresbach Travel Information Center (mile marker 275) is available to westbound I-90 travelers as they cross into Minnesota from La Crosse, Wis. Another rest area west of the Marion Rest Area for westbound travelers is Oakland Woods (mile marker 177) west of Austin.
During the work, crews will be installing an improvement to the septic system. If work is completed sooner than expected the rest area will open at that time.
