Hwy 61 single lane traffic scheduled in Cottage Grove Apr 25-May 22

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, southbound Highway 61 will be reduced to a single lane between 70th Street and Highway 10 in the Cottage Grove area as part of a concrete repair project. The southbound lane is expected to reopen by 11 p.m., Monday, May 8.

Beginning at approximately 9 a.m., Monday, May 8, northbound Highway 61 will be reduced to a single lane from Highway 10 to 70th Street. The northbound lane is expected to reopen on Monday, May 22.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
