MnDOT to host April 11 public meeting for the I-94 to St. Croix construction project
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host an in-person public meeting to provide an overview of this year’s upcoming construction on Interstate 94 between Oakdale and the St. Croix River.
The meeting is 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11 at the Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Rd., Woodbury, MN. There will be no formal presentation. The public is encouraged to come at any time during the meeting. MnDOT staff will provide information and answer questions about road improvements, the construction schedule and traffic impacts. Community members who cannot attend the meeting in person can watch an overview video on the project webpage in the weeks following the event.
I-94 road construction from Highway 120/Century Avenue to the St. Croix River will resume in the middle of April, weather and schedule permitting. The interstate will be reduced to two lanes in both directions between Woodbury Drive and the St. Croix River through fall 2023. However, motorists can expect delays and impacts throughout the project area.
MnDOT crews will be resurfacing the pavement and making other improvements to I-94 between Highway 120/Century Avenue and the St. Croix River through fall 2024. The work will improve safety, traffic flow and ride smoothness.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print) for this event, please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
