Public meeting for Hwy 120/Century Avenue study scheduled Feb. 21
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) invites the community to a public meeting to learn about potential improvements on hwy 120/Century Avenue between Interstate 94 in Maplewood and I-694 in Oakdale.
This in-person meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Avenue North. In previous years, we gathered input from area residents, businesses, and government stakeholders along hwy 120 and now we want to share how we incorporated the public feedback.
Attendees will have an opportunity to review the roadway design options and share feedback with the project team. There will be no formal presentation, so attendees can arrive and leave at any time.
This six-mile stretch of hwy 120 is aging and will need repairs in a few years. MnDOT has been studying this section of road, identify issues, priorities, and environmental concerns in order to address safety concerns and other hwy-related issues.
For those unable to attend the public meeting, a presentation will be posted after the meeting on the project website: Hwy 120 Maplewood to Oakdale Study - MnDOT (state.mn.us).
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all.
