Hwy 10 Anoka open house highlights upcoming 2023 Hwy 10 construction, Rum River Bridge replacement in Anoka
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –The Minnesota Department of Transportation is inviting the public to attend a public meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, to learn about the second year of improvements on Highway 10 and the Rum River Bridge in Anoka. The open house will be held at Green Haven Golf & Banquet Center, 2800 Greenhaven Rd., Anoka. The public can come and go at their convenience as there will not be a formal presentation.
This year marks the second year of an ambitious two-year construction project on Highway 10 in Anoka. MnDOT and the city are working together to repair aging roads and bridges on the highway between Thurston Ave. and 7th Ave. in Anoka. When complete, the two-year Hwy 10 Anoka project will improve traffic flow, decrease traffic delays and increase safety. Construction is anticipated to be completed in spring 2024.
The open house will allow participants to learn more about the project schedule, view the roadway layout and detours as well as meet the project team and ask questions. Please join us to understand how you can be prepared and plan for traffic impacts and closures.
Following the open house, a recorded presentation and project materials will be available on the project website at www.mndot.gov/metro/projects/hwy10-anoka/index.html. There also will be a link to submit questions to a member of the project staff or to sign up for project updates.
