Highway 57 project completed first year of reconstruction in Kasson
KASSON, Minn. – The first year of the Highway 57 reconstruction project in Kasson was completed on Nov. 16 and the road is fully open again to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
MnDOT thanks everyone for their patience and attention to safety while construction work occurred this season to improve the road.
The two-year construction project began this year with reconstruction of Highway 57 from First Street North to 11th Street Northeast. Work planned for 2023 includes reconstruction of Highway 57 from south of Veterans Memorial Highway/Dodge County Road 34 to south of First Street Northeast, including construction of a roundabout at County Road 34 and a mini roundabout at Main Street. Work in 2023 is expected to begin in April and be completed in late July.
