MnDOT is developing plans to improve the Highway 47 at BNSF Railroad crossing in Anoka. A 2016 MnDOT safety study recommended separating the highway and railroad crossing by constructing a bridge over the train tracks. In 2020 the state Legislature awarded bonding funds to make safety improvements.
MnDOT encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
