Southbound I-35 lane closures near Forest Lake scheduled for Oct. 20-22

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter southbound I-35 lane reductions in the Forest Lake area, Thursday, Oct. 20 through Saturday, Oct. 22 to complete pavement repairs.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, southbound I-35 between Highway 8 and the I-35/I-35E/I-35W split will be reduced to a single lane. 

For morning peak hours on Friday, Oct. 21, southbound I-35, will be reduced to two lanes until 9 am.

The Broadway Avenue ramp to southbound I-35, the nearby rest area and weigh station will also be closed during this work.

All lanes, ramp and facility closures are anticipated to reopen by 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.

Motorists should expect significant delays and allow for more time to reach their destination. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones where workers are present.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change.
