MnDOT to host two public meetings for London Road/Hwy 61 project
Duluth, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting two public meetings to discuss proposed alternatives for the London Road/Hwy 61 project through Duluth. An in-person meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 5:30 p.m. in Glensheen Mansion’s Winter Garden room. A virtual meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 5:30 p.m. The same information will be presented at both meetings.
After conducting a public survey, studying the corridor and getting feedback from various stakeholders, community groups, business owners and agencies, MnDOT will present recommended alternatives along the corridor from 26th Avenue East to 60th Avenue East. The public will have an opportunity to view layouts of the alternatives, hear a presentation on the project, ask questions and give feedback on the proposed improvements.
More information on the project and a link to the virtual meeting can be found at mndot.gov/d1/projects/londonroad.
