Public meeting set to discuss Mission Creek Bridge replacement and Hwy 23 reconstruction
Duluth, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a hybrid public meeting Tuesday, July 12, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to discuss plans for replacing the Mission Creek Bridge and reconstructing Hwy 23 in Duluth. For those who cannot attend the meeting, a recording will be posted to the project webpage to view when convenient.
The in-person public meeting will be held at the Lake Superior College (LSC) Emergency Response Training Center (ERTC), 11501 Hwy 23, Duluth MN 55808.
This project is slated for construction in 2024 and aims to enhance safety, improve ride quality, extend the life of the road, and construct a bridge with an opening that will accommodate large rainfall events and creek debris.
