Temporary closure of Hwy 75 railroad crossing in Graceville scheduled for June 21
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — On Tuesday, June 21, starting at 8:30 a.m., weather permitting, motorists will encounter a temporary closure on Highway 75 in Graceville. Railroad crews will be removing the crossing. Traffic will be detoured to Highway 28, Big Stone County Road 7, Traverse County Road 5 and Traverse County Road 6.
The removal is expected to take approximately one day to complete. If paving is not completed on Tuesday, as that work is weather/temperature dependent, motorists may encounter lane closures and flaggers in the days to follow.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
