Hwy 22 reduced to one lane overnight north of Litchfield
WILLMAR, Minn. – Hwy 22 is reduced to one lane overnight north of Litchfield between 310th Street and County Road 16 due to maintenance work that was done on the southbound lane. Traffic signal lights will direct vehicles through the area. Drivers should use caution and obey traffic signs. Crews will remove the traffic signals by 10:00 am Tuesday, June 7 and normal two-way traffic will resume at that time.
Watch for orange cones
MnDOT asks drivers to:
- Slow down when approaching every work zone
- Never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones
- Stay alert; watch for workers and slow-moving equipment
- Obey posted speed limits; fine for a work zone violation is $300
- Minimize distractions behind the wheel
- Be patient and expect delays, especially during peak travel times
