Emergency railroad crossing repairs to take place beginning June 3
Repairs include Highway 59 in Thief River Falls and Highway 220 east of East Grand Forks
BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today there will be emergency railroad crossing repairs to begin on June 3. The repairs will take place at the following locations:
- June 3: Highway 59 (3rd street) in Thief River Falls
- June 6 – 9: Highway 220 east of East Grand Forks near Mallory
- Highway 220 will be closed from Highway 2 to Polk County Road 72
The road will be closed until crews complete the repairs. Motorists should seek alternate routes.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
