Hwy 210 reopens with no travel advisory

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — (8:45 p.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reopened Hwy 210 between Breckenridge and Fergus Falls; however, travel is still not advised in this area. The road is snow-covered, and high winds and blowing snow have created dangerous whiteout conditions and drifting snow.

A no travel advisory remains in effect for several state and federal highways in Big Stone, Stevens, Swift, Traverse and Wilkin counties. View 511mn.org for specific route information. Snowplows continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel in these areas until conditions improve.

In addition, Hwy 55 near Nashua remains closed due to a train/semi crash that occurred earlier today.
