MnDOT and its partners seek input on intersection of Hwy 23 and Hwy 7 in Clara City
WILLMAR, Minn. – MnDOT District 8, the Highway 23 Coalition, Clara City and Chippewa County are looking for input on the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 7 in Clara City. A short survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/claracity and is part of a study of the intersection which began in the fall of 2020. The survey is also available in Spanish at www.surveymonkey.com/r/encuestadeClaraCity.
The safety study is exploring intersection alternatives to improve safety and traffic flow. Current traffic conditions such as the amount of traffic, turning movements, what types of traffic use the intersection and crash data are being studied. Future traffic projections are also part of the study. A final study document will include recommended alternatives for the intersection.
The short survey takes less than five minutes to complete and asks individuals about their goals for the intersection and what potential improvements they could support.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all.
