Stillwater Lift Bridge lift schedule

2019 Schedule

The official Coast Guard lift bridge schedule went in to effect on Wed, May 15. However during work on the bridge this summer and fall, the lift span will remain in the lowered position. Span #6 located east of the lift span was floated out of position to allow boats to pass through the bridge while the lift span is worked on. Boats should travel through this gap in the bridge and follow the navigational signs through the no-wake zone.

2017 and 2018

The U.S. Coast Guard conducted a test deviation of the Stillwater Lift bridge schedule during the 2017 boating season. Following the end of the 2017 season, the U.S. Coast Guard approved a change to the lift schedule in 2018.

During the test deviation in the 2017 season, the bridge opened daily, every 30 minutes from 8 a.m. until midnight, and upon two hour notice from midnight until 8 a.m. from 8 a.m. Aug. 23, 2017 through 11:59 p.m. Oct. 15, 2017. Public comment was accepted during and after the test schedule period. The comment period is now closed.

During rehabilitation of the Stillwater Lift bridge, efforts will be made to minimize impacts to river traffic during the navigation season.
