Overnight closures planned for Interstate 694 in Arden Hills, Wednesday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Sept. 11
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Westbound Interstate 694 motorists may encounter overnight delays later this week as maintenance crews repair the roadway and fix dips in the pavement between Lexington Avenue and Highway 10 in Arden Hills. Crews will work overnight from 7 a.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning from Wednesday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Sept. 11.
During the repairs, the westbound interstate will be reduced to a single lane and the following ramps and loops will be closed and detoured:
- Ramp from westbound I-694 to Highway 10
- Ramp from Lexington Avenue to westbound Highway 10
- Loop from northbound Snelling Avenue/Highway 51 to westbound Highway 10
Weather permitting, the road will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
Motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow more time to reach their destination. MnDOT also advises drivers to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
