Weekend closures planned for Hwy 610 overhead sign replacement in Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids

ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Highway 610 motorists may encounter delays this weekend during a project to replace overhead signs along the westbound highway in Brooklyn Park and Coon Rapids. During the work, westbound Highway 610 will be restricted to a single lane from 8 p.m. Friday, July 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 20, between Coon Rapids Boulevard and Nobles Avenue. The ramp from northbound Highway 252 to westbound Highway 610 also will be closed and detoured at the same time.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.

Road work continues to be a critical service. MnDOT is committed to ptecting the health, safety and well-being of its employees, contractors and all Minnesotans. Crews continue to follow the guidance of state and federal health officials to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
