Daily lane closures planned next week for construction of new interchange at Highway 169 and 101st Avenue in Brooklyn Park
ROSEVILLE, Minn. —Construction of a new interchange at Highway 169 and 101st Avenue will require daily lane closures next week between Highway 610 and 109th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. Motorists will encounter intermittent single lane traffic in both directions between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
Construction of the new interchange began this spring at Highway 169 and 101st Avenue in northwest Brooklyn Park. When completed, the interchange will improve transportation and safety in the northwest metro region of the Twin Cities as well as foster economic development along Highway 169 and Highway 610.
Road work continues to be a critical service. MnDOT is committed to protecting the health, safety and well-being of its employees, contractors and all Minnesotans. Crews continue to follow the guidance of state and federal health officials to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
