Highway 8 road closures scheduled Sept. 10 in Washington and Chisago Counties

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter two road closures along Highway 8 in Washington and Chisago counties starting Sept. 10 as crews make drainage repairs.

Beginning before morning rush hours, Monday, Sept. 10, Highway 8 between milepost 20 and milepost 21, just south of Taylors Falls will close. Crews expect to re-open this section of Highway 8 by Friday morning, Sept. 14. 

An additional closure will also begin the morning of Sept. 10 on Highway 8 between Hazel Avenue and Pioneer Rd/Green Lake Trail/County Rd 23. Crews expect to re-open this section of Highway 8 by Saturday morning, Sept. 15.

During both closures, all traffic will be directed to follow the posted detours.  Local access to businesses and homes within the project areas will be maintained for both closures.
