Overnight closure, detour planned tomorrow for I-694 through Fridley
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Both directions of Interstate 694 will close overnight Tuesday, Aug. 1 between Interstate 94 in Brooklyn Center and I-35W in New Brighton. The city of Fridley will close the interstate from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2. All on-ramps to the intestate will be closed during the same time. During the closure, construction crews will place a new pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the interstate just west of Main Street in Fridley.
During the closure, motorists should follow the signed detours to reach their destinations.
- Eastbound traffic: Detour north on Highway 252, east on Highway 610 and Highway 10 and south on I-35W
- Westbound traffic: Detour north on I-35W, west on Highway 10 and Highway 610 and south on Highway 252
