Highway 68 bridge project near Canby completed
WILLMAR, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation Highway 68 bridge project is now complete. The detour will be removed and the road opened by the end of today. The project, located three miles west of Canby on Highway 68, included the replacement of the bridge over Lazarus Creek.
Benefits of the project include a smoother bridge surface, improved drainage system beneath the road and reduced flood potential. Robert R. Schroeder was the contractor for the project, which cost $1.4 million.
