MnDOT and partners looking for community feedback as part of Glencoe Transportation Study
WILLMAR, Minn. – MnDOT, and its partners, are looking for community feedback as part of the Glencoe Transportation Study. MnDOT, the city of Glencoe and McLeod County are working to complete a transportation study that reflects the current and future transportation needs for the Glencoe area. The goals of the study are to:
- Improve the safety of intersections along Highway 212 and Highway 22 for vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists.
- Develop a plan that outlines appropriate access along Highway 212 and Highway 22
- Study the current route of Hwy 22 through Glencoe
MnDOT and its partners have committed to work with the greater Glencoe community to ensure that the community’s concerns and aspirations are directly reflected in the alternatives developed as part of the Glencoe Transportation Study and to provide feedback on how the community influenced recommendations and decisions.
The public is invited to attend a FREE community event on Saturday, February 16th at the Glencoe City Center. Community members can come anytime between 11 am and 1 pm to give feedback on intersections along Highway 212 and Highway 22 while enjoying FREE food, carnival games and activities.
Not able to make the community event on February 16th? Feedback can be given through an on-line survey at surveymonkey.com/r/Glencoe212-22.
