Hwy 277 bridge replacement project starts Monday, May 1

WILLMAR, Minn. – The Highway 277 bridge replacement project will start Monday, May 1.  This project will require a detour.  Construction is expected to be finished, weather permitting, by June. 

Detour will follow Highway 277 east along CR 13 to CR 2 north to Highway 40 west back to Highway 277. detour (map below).

Riley Brothers is the contractor on the project.  The total project cost is $770,000.  For more information on the project visit www.mndot.gov/d8/projects/hwy277/index.html.               

MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones.  Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
