No travel advised continues in south central Overnight, plows coming in at dark
No travel advised in southcentral Minnesota overnight. I 90 and many highways remain closed. More highways will likely become impassable as most snow plows are being pulled in at dark.
MnDOT plows drivers will return at 4 a.m. and should be on the road by 5 a.m. working with law enforcement and towing companies to unplug the highways.
Motorists will need to closely monitor 511mn.org to find out when their highway is reopened. There is much work to do and it will take time for the teams to clear the many blocked highways.
Stay home and stay safe until progress can be made.
