Public open house for Hwy 169 construction set for July 24 in Winnebago
MnDOT will address the 2018 construction project from Blue Earth to Winnebago
MANKATO, Minn. — The public is invited to learn about upcoming construction planned for Hwy 169 from Blue Earth to Winnebago. The open house is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at the Winnebago Municipal Center, located at 140 South Main Street in Winnebago.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will provide information about the project and staff will be available on-site to answer questions.
Construction is scheduled to begin August 13 and continue through early October on the 7.6 miles of Hwy 169 between Blue Earth and Winnebago, which includes resurfacing the roadway to provide a smoother ride, as well as sidewalk upgrades in Winnebago. Lighting is also being installed at the intersections of Hwy 169 with County Road 6 and County Road 10.
During construction, motorists will experience lane restrictions and flagging operations as work is done under traffic.
