March 22 open house set for 2018 Hwy 109 project
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The public is encouraged to attend an open house about the resurfacing of Highway 109 from Alden to Wells in 2018. The open house style meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alden City Hall, 174 North Broadway.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning to mill and overlay Highway 109 from Highway 22 at Wells to Interstate 90 at Alden.
The project will address deteriorating pavement, sidewalks and improved accessibility, rural culverts, minor utility modifications and storm water repairs.
The open house is an opportunity to review the proposed improvements and construction plan and provide input. Staff from MnDOT and the city of Alden will be available.
