MnDOT to host meeting Jan. 7 for small businesses interested in Hwy 52 Zumbrota to Cannon Falls project
ZUMBROTA, Minn. – MnDOT’s Office of Civil Rights is hosting a virtual meet and greet for certified small businesses interested in bidding on the Hwy 52 Zumbrota to Cannon Falls project.MnDOT to host meeting Jan. 7 for small businesses interested in Hwy 52 Zumbrota to Cannon Falls project.
The virtual meet and greet is Jan. 7, 2021, from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. It will be held via Microsoft Teams.

To prevent further spread of COVID-19, MnDOT is not hosting any in-person public meetings at this time.

The Hwy 52 Zumbrota to Cannon Falls project involves reconstruction of the southbound lanes from south of Cannon Falls to north of Zumbrota, replacement of the Hwy 60 bridges east and west, an interchange at Hwy 57 and Goodhue County Road 8, as well as other improvements to the Hwy 52 corridor, which is approximately 20 miles of the Hwy 52 corridor between Rochester and St. Paul. Construction is expected to begin by fall of 2021 and be completed in 2023.
Participants will have to opportunity to meet with MnDOT personnel and the shortlisted construction teams including Ames Construction, The Mathiowetz Construction Company, Michels Corporation, and Shafer Contracting Co.
