Dodge County transportation is the topic Feb. 18 in Kasson for Coffee and Conversation with MnDOT

KASSON, Minn. – The public is invited to attend a coffee and conversation session on transportation on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Kasson with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and its partner Dodge County.

The gathering is from 9-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Daniel’s restaurant, 504 Mantorville Ave. S. in Kasson.

Interested residents may stop by for coffee anddiscussionwith Mark Schoenfelder, district engineer for MnDOT’s southeast Minnesota District 6, and Guy Kohlnhofer, Dodge County engineer. Community presentations may also be included.

A short presentation on transportation projects in the area will be made, but much of the time will be left for residents to ask questions and learn about transportation efforts and challenges in the communities of Dodge County and southeast Minnesota.

“We’d like to see as many folks come out and share their thoughts on transportation issues, and also hear about some of our plans,” said Schoenfelder. “We meet with different communities in our 11-county district and this is one way we can connect.”

MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. We believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to enjoy the programs, services and activities we provide.
