Updated time: Open house Feb. 25 in Winona for Highway 43 reconstruction project
WINONA, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to an open house on Tuesday, Feb. 25 in Winona to review the preliminary design concepts for the reconstruction of Hwy 43. The time was adjusted to ensure the gathering ends before Minnesota’s precinct caucuses begin.
The Mankato Avenue Reconstruction Project between Sarnia Street and E. Lake Blvd. south of Hwy 61 in Winona is scheduled for 2022.
The project team, including MnDOT, will be available from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the National Guard Armory 1303 Homer Rd, Winona, MN 55987.
During the open house, people may drop by at any time to talk with the project manager and others, offer ideas, learn more about the project and ask questions. Maps and information will be available for review.
To learn more about the project or sign up for email updates, go to the project website at mankatoavereconstruction.com. People can also join the MnDOT SE Minnesota Facebook group at facebook.com/groups/MnDOTsoutheast.
