Hwy 16 paving project finished between Spring Valley and Dexter

ROCHESTER, Minn. — The paving and culvert replacement project of Hwy 16 between Spring Valley and Dexter has been completed, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Rochester Sand and Gravel was the prime contractor repaving approximately 15 miles of Hwy 16 from Spring Valley to Grand Meadow to Dexter. This will extend the road’s life span and provide a smoother ride. The work also included significant culvert replacements along the corridor (three box culverts and five pipe culverts), which required detours during the project this past summer.
