Bridge lanes over Hwy 63 in south Rochester reopened after repair work
ROCHESTER, Minn. — All traffic lanes on the 48th Street South bridge over Hwy 63 in Rochester reopened Monday, Aug. 26 after crews completed repairs, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
MnDOT bridge maintenance crews repaired concrete joints in the bridge deck and repaired approach joints. The left lane in each direction was closed for the weeklong repair work.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
