Hwy 30 repaving work begins Sept. 9 between Rushford and Hwy 74 near Chatfield
RUSHFORD, Minn. — Hwy 30 motorists between Rushford and Hwy 74 east of Chatfield should be alert for construction work and traffic slowdowns beginning Sept. 9 as crews begin a repaving project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Dunn Blacktop, a MnDOT contractor, will resurface approximately 22 miles of Hwy 30 and replace guardrail. The project is on the west end of Rushford to Hwy 74 east of Chatfield.
Motorists can expect short-term delays during the work with flaggers stopping vehicles in one direction to await their turn, while motorists in the other direction follow a pilot car through the work zone.
Work is expected to be completed in early November.
