Open house set for April 8 for Hwy 57-Hwy 60 roundabout at Wanamingo
WANAMINGO, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house on Monday, April 8 in Wanamingo to learn more about construction in 2020 of a roundabout at Highway 57 and Highway 60 at Wanamingo, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Representatives of MnDOT will be available to answer questions and provide information from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the community room at the Wanamingo City Hall, 401 Main Street. Following the meeting at 7 p.m., the Wanamingo City Council is scheduled during its meeting to hold a hearing on municipal consent for the project.
In 2020, MnDOT plans to construct a roundabout at Highway 57 and Highway 60. The project is expected to improve safety at this intersection.
During the April 8 open house, people may drop by at any time during the session to learn more about the project, offer feedback, and ask questions. Maps and information will be available.
