I-90 lane closures planned in May near Dresbach Bridge for road repairs
DRESBACH, Minn. – Motorists on Interstate 90 will encounter lane closures in both directions beginning as early as Tuesday, May 8 near the Dresbach Welcome Center, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closures are necessary to repair the road near the bridge. Work is expected to occur through May. The lane closures will be in effect through May.
The Dresbach Bridge project included the construction of a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstruction of the Highway 61/14 and I-90 interchange. The $187.5 million project began in late 2012 and was completed in early November 2016.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
