Hwy 60 resurfacing project completed between Faribault and Kenyon
FARIBAULT, Minn. – Striping on Highway 60 between the Straight River near Faribault and Huseth Avenue in Kenyon wrapped up earlier this month, marking the end of the road resurfacing project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
This project replaced aging pavement, extended the lifespan of the highway and made ADA improvements to sidewalks and ramps in Kenyon and Faribault. Work started in September.
Crane Creek Asphalt was the prime contractor on this $3.2 million project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
