Westbound I-90 temporarily detoured at Dakota for vehicle crash in Winona County

ROCHESTER, Minn. (2 p.m.) – Westbound Interstate 90 motorists are being detoured at the Dakota exit 270 to avoid a vehicle crash that occurred Friday afternoon , according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Motorists may experience short delays as traffic is routed off I-90 and through Dakota in Winona County. Motorists will be able to connect with I-90 westbound by traveling north on the detour. Motorists should use slower speeds and be alert for emergency vehicles and personnel.

A vehicle crash on westbound I-90 closed the traveling lanes of the highway at approximately 1 p.m. Westbound I-90 traffic is expected to be detoured for several hours. Eastbound I-90 traffic remains open. The area is approximately 5 miles west of the Dresbach Bridge.
