I-90 lane closures at Dresbach Bridge begin May 1
DRESBACH, Minn. – Interstate 90 motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions near the Dresbach Bridge beginning Monday for work on traffic barriers, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closures are necessary for the safety of workers and motorists while the work takes place.
The Dresbach Bridge project included the construction of a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstruction of the Highway 61/14 and I-90 interchange. The $187.5 million project began in late 2012 and was completed in early November 2016.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
