Highway 10/County Highway 54 railroad crossing near Detroit Lakes to temporarily close for railroad maintenance Oct. 4-6
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—Motorists will encounter a temporary closure of the Highway 10/County Highway 54 railroad crossing near Detroit Lakes from Thursday, Oct. 4 through Saturday, Oct. 6, as railroad crews complete repairs to the crossing.
Thru-traffic on Highway 10 will not be impacted, but the turn lanes to County Highway 54 in both directions will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Randolph Road. The railroad crossing is expected to reopen by 6 p.m., on Saturday, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
