Open house for 2019, 2020 Wheaton area transportation projects set for May 11
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house to learn about two future road and bridge projects in the Wheaton area. The event will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at the Wheaton Community Library, 901 1st Ave. North, Wheaton. A short presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning a project in 2019 to resurface Highway 27 and Highway 75, and improve pedestrian accessibility along state highways in the city of Wheaton.
MnDOT also plans to replace the Highway 75 bridge over the Mustinka River in 2020.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend to learn more about the projects and share feedback with MnDOT representatives.
