Open house for Hwy 10 bridge replacement, resurfacing project set for April 6

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house to learn about the 2017 Highway 10 project in Detroit Lakes on Thursday, April 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the MnDOT District 4 office, 1000 Highway 10 West, Detroit Lakes.

Crews will replace the eastbound Highway 10 bridge over the CP Railway line and place concrete in both directions on Highway 10 between Highway 59 and Summit Avenue.
Placing concrete in this section will provide a long-term fix, but the project will result in significant traffic disruptions, particularly during work near Highway 59 and near Summit Avenue.

The project is set to begin in mid-April.

The meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn about the project timeline and construction staging.

Additional project information is available at www.mndot.gov/d4/projects/dlwest/.
