Tree removal on Hwy 27, city streets in Little Falls begins April 15
BAXTER, Minn. – Motorists and residents along Highway 27 and several local streets near downtown Little Falls may encounter workers, heavy equipment and occasional slow traffic while crews remove trees beginning Monday, April 15. The tree removal will take up to 10 days to complete.
The work is the first part of a major 2019 project that will improve Highway 27 and other infrastructure through downtown Little Falls.
When complete, the project will reconstruct or resurface two miles of Highway 27 between 15th St SW and Ninth Street, install new underground utilities, curb, gutter and sidewalk, improve signals, add new bike lanes through downtown Little Falls and improve short segments of local roads.
